My philosophy was this: In a time when the wedding industry leads couples to believe that a great wedding is all about details and “bigger is better”, I aimed to act as a mirror to each couple’s legacy of love and authentic reactions and emotions. The pretty stuff is only the icing on the cake of the deeper emotional story of each wedding day.

A surprising side effect of photographing weddings was that I learned how to string together a moving, unique story to recap on my blog. I loved writing about my take on each day from my perspective, and truly enjoyed crafting an image story for each event.
