MY PHILOSOPHY? KEEP IT REAL.

Your wedding doesn't need a zillion fancy details or a mountaintop in order to be awesome. The wedding industry may lead you to believe that a great wedding is all about details and fanciness, but that's not how I see it. The pretty stuff is only the icing on the cake of the deeper emotional story of your wedding day.

When I shoot, I think about more than just taking a pretty picture.

I think about everyone who has ever loved you: Your children, future grandchildren; your best friends and anyone who holds you dear. I shoot knowing that these photos will likely be representative of your legacy of love long after you're gone. And how images can be a reminder for everyone who loved you and how you were a part of their story, too.

It's a legacy thing.

That's why your photos should feel authentic to you and representative of your smile; they way you once held your loved ones and snuggled 'em only how you can. That weird snort you do when you laugh too hard. That's all you. And your love is your legacy. And I get to be a mirror to it, which is really the best job ever.

As your photographer, I won't make myself the center of attention. Instead, I'll be more like your own quiet, supportive photo ninja/fly-on-the-wall, documenting your wedding transition; likely with a goofy smile on my face. Because that's how I roll.
