Turtlehead Farm Wedding
Oh hey, September. I didn't see you there, you sneaky rascal! This summer has brought me some seriously lovely work with truly awesome couples. Sarah and Leor were no exception! The two were married in July, surrounded by the beauty of one of their favorite places, and mine: Orcas Island.
All weekend long, these two were concerned with the comfort and happiness of their guests. They created a simply stunning, inviting, down to earth celebration; right down to the Arrested Development place cards at their reception (still, hands down, one of my favorite, personalized place card ideas ever). A whole lot of elegance with the perfect amount of quirky thrown in for fun. My kind of party!
Sarah's brother and Leor's sister co-officiated the ceremony. Toy boxes were handed out to the kiddos at the reception. The horses on the property played and grazed as guests mingled. Pretty much the stuff dreams are made of.
Having met Sarah and Leor's families, I totally see how these two people turned out to be so gracious and kind. Side note: this family might also win if ever challenged to a dance-off. Just sayin'!
Such a great day. Here are some of my favorite moments:
Sarah designed their invitations. Can you believe it? So, so good.
Extra thanks to the team at Cloud 9 Events for their beautiful coordination efforts! It was a good day!
