Destination Elopement Photographer | A Seabrook Wedding

"A woman knows the face of the man she loves as a sailor knows the open sea." - Honore de Balzac

When Claire & Mike decided to get married, they wanted to keep things simple and laid-back, with a major focus on family. When it was all said and done, they had less than 20 of their closest loved ones join them to witness their ceremony. Claire's bestie, Erin, suggested that the couple check out the little beach town of Seabrook, Washington to host the family for the weekend. And, of course, I was thrilled to have been asked to document their celebration for them.

If you've followed my blog at all, you probably know that I mention Seabrook a lot. It's one of my happy places. I love being there... There's something about the forest near the water that inspires me and allows me to breathe everything in. Shooting there is always a dream. Just add a small, family-centered wedding with my sweet clients, and I am sold!

A few highlights for me: Claire's kiddos, who always had their "silly faces" ready. The ceremony, held in a gazebo on a cliff overlooking the beach. The amazingly talented Ericka Corban keeping us company with her beautiful music throughout the day. And the fog that covered the town at night. So much love for this wedding.

I made a little highlights video and incorporated a few video clips for fun. Click below to watch it, and then scroll on down for more still photos from the day.
